3. Conclusion

A critical review is neither systematic nor distrustful. The aim of clinical research is to analyze and quantify human biological phenomena in conditions that are subject to a strict set of rules. Yet such investigations may be limited for various reasons: methodological, budgetary, or ethical. There is no such thing as perfection.

The implementation of this technique of literature review takes essentially a pragmatic approach that allows the reviewer to accept or not accept, to apply or not to apply the findings that may be deemed to be useful.

This approach requires a basic knowledge of methodologies. It has the advantage being adaptable to any type of publication.
