Probable case: fever + exposure + symptoms such as:
Asthenia, anorexia
Diffuse pains, headaches, abdominal pains, chest pains
Coughing, respiratory sounds (rhonchi, rales), dysphagia, vomiting, diarrhea
Hepatomegaly, splenomegalia
Visceral and cutaneo-mucosal hemorrhages…
Or patient with a clinical presentation compatible with an Ebola VHF and no possible evaluation of the exposure risk.
Confirmed case: confirmed by biological testing.
A probable case confirmed by laboratory analysis (IgM serology positive, PCR positive or virus isolated).
