Personnel working with suspected, confirmed and/or cases confined in high risk areas have to have specific Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
The personnel need to know the putting on (donning) and taking off (doffing) protocol
Several PPE systems are available on the field
It is very important to have PPE of good quality (MSF standard) and to train the personnel on how to use them
Two types of PPE are available:
A « full » PPE: for high risk areas where direct contact with patients occurs
A « lighter » PPE: for areas of lower risk where there is no direct contact with patients
