3.7.3.3 Labels and documents

  • Put documents in an envelope (samples identification and data sheets, clinical data sheet, etc.). Put the envelope in the card box packaging.

  • Ensure that the cardboard box is well closed with adhesive tape

  • Affix a label with the name and address of sender, of the recipient and of the person in charge (include cellphone number)

  • Affix the hazard label “Infectious substances” on the cardboard box and add “Infectious substances, affecting humans, UN2814.”

  • Glue two orientation labels (arrows indicating position of closures) on 2 opposite sides of the cardboard box.
