3.9 Waste management

Minimum requirements for waste reduction, recycling and handling:

  • Verify that infectious and dangerous waste are separated from ordinary waste in order to reduce treatment costs and increase the amount of supplies/materials that can be recycled

  • Make sure that consumable and reagent inventories are managed properly by using data sheets listing deliveries and current stock

  • Buy durable suppliers, furniture and equipment.
