2.5 Renaturation of DNA

Once denatured, DNA can be renatured.

This can achieved, for instance, with a moderate decrease in temperature.

Definition of renaturation: The double helix is recreated. The annealed nitrogenous bases reconnect and the double-stranded molecule forms a new double helix.
